"Takluk" starring Syafiq Kyle and Kamal Adli is about 2013's Ops Daulat in Sabah

2 May – Multimedia Entertainment recently revealed that they are releasing two more movies about national heroes, including one about the Lahad Datu and Ops Daulat incident in 2013.

The movie, which is titled "Takluk", stars Syafiq Kyle, Kamal Adli and Fikry Ibrahim in the leads as part of the VAT69 Commando crew who fought to defend the sovereignty of our homeland from attacks by terrorist groups.

The film is directed by Zulkarnain Azhar of "J Revolusi" and "Air Force The Movie: Selagi Bernyawa" fame, with the support from the Royal Malaysian Police Force.

The Lahad Datu 2013 standoff or Operation Daulat occurred when 235 Filipinos known as the Royal Security Force of the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo was sent by Jamalul Kiram III to claim the throne of the Sulu Sultanate.

The conflict, which started on 11 February 2013, ended on 24 March.

On the other hand, aside from "Takluk", Multimedia Entertainment is also producing the movie, "Legasi Bomba the Movie", helmed by James Lee and Frank See.
