7 Nov - Aimed at showcasing foreign language, art house films on the big screens, GSC International Screens unveils the highly acclaimed adaption of "The Count of Monte Cristo" (2024) at selected GSC locations*, Aurum Theatre, and Velvet Cinemas by GSC on 14 November onwards.

More than that, an ode to the celebration of French cinema, a curated total entertainment experience complete with an aptly themed French menu, exclusive movie-inspired collectibles, personalised invitations and screenings of "The Count of Monte Cristo" awaits movie-enthusiasts at Aurum Theatre locations and Velvet Cinemas by GSC.

From the 1844 literary masterpiece by Alexandre Dumas a classic tale of revenge, deception and redemption, the film promises thrilling adventures of protagonist, Edmond Dantès.

This title first premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in May 2024, captivating audiences with intense performances led by a stellar cast, intricate storytelling and visually stunning, offering a fresh take on a timeless classic. Drawing positive reception amongst audiences, this modern adaption of "The Count of Monte Cristo" received an 11-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival 2024.
