1 Mar – Lionsgate has recently released the first look photos of their upcoming movie, "The Crow", which stars Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigs in the lead. The movie, which is based on the James O'Barr graphic novel of the same name, is directed by Rupert Sanders of "Snow White and the Huntsman" fame, sees Skarsgård playing the role of Eric Draven, which was played by Brandon Lee in the 1994 film.
One of the photos shows Skarsgård's Eric Draven and Twigs' Shelly Webster in front of a fire pit, while the other photo has the actor in full Crow makeup.
The official synopsis reads, "Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right." Other cast members include Danny Huston, Isabella Wei, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila and Jordan Bolger.
