4 Dec - "12th Fail" star Vikrant Massey surprised many by suddenly announcing that he is taking an indefinite hiatus from his acting career.

On 2 December, the actor, whose new movie, "The Sabarmati Report" is gaining a huge traction at the box office, posted a statement that read, "The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it's time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also, as an Actor," he added.

Vikrant stated that his last two movies will be released in 2025, and that he will no longer be in the limelight "until time deems right".

It is noted that the actor is currently filming two movies; "Yaar Jigri" and "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan".

The actor started his career by working on the TV show "Dhoom Machao Dhoom". His first film was the 2013's "Lootera" before finally playing the lead in "A Death in the Gunj" in 2017.

However, he finally became famous globally following the viral success of "12th Fail".
