7 Jul - AR Rahman got everybody excited as he shared his first photo with Hollywood renowned film score composer, Hans Zimmer on social media.

Rahman, who captioned the Instagram photo, "With [Hans Zimmer]" and added the hashtag "Ramayana", attracted almost 400,000 likes on the photo, with many fans expressing their anticipation for the result of their collaboration.

It is noted that the photo is not a random one, as the two Oscar legends recently worked together for ambitious epic film, "Ramayana", directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

The movie, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita among others, will be separated into two parts, with the first one to be released on Diwali 2026 and the second part a year later.

One netizen commented, "Collab of the century," while another wrote, "The final boss of absolute score."

"The soundtracks are going to be generational and crazy," another fan enthused.

The German composer, who has scored films like "Gladiator", "The Dark Knight", "Dune" and "Interstellar" among others, last worked on the Brad Pitt-starrer, "F1". Meanwhile, Rahman, who has multiple projects under his belt right now, had his latest work on screen being Mani Ratnam's "Thug Life".
