20 May - Cara Delevingne surprised many Malaysian fans recently when she revealed to have been to Malaysia as part of a campaign to save the endangered Malayan tiger.

The model-actress shared her visit as part of the Save Wild Tigers campaign on Instagram recently, posting, "With just 150 wild Malayan tigers in Malaysia's jungles we must do everything we can to restore and conserve the dwindling population."

"Poachers have now become the deadliest predators in these forests, forests which are 130 million years old. They still hold just enough wild tigers to make saving them possible," she added.

Delevingne also stated that everybody has to continue to spread awareness regarding this issue in order to not let the tigers go extinct.

"Wild tigers can bounce back, if we let them," she added.

Delevingne, who was joined by fellow actress Jaime Winstone and singer Mabel among others, visited Taman Negara National Park alongside other activists and even traveled on the Eastern Oriental Express train.
