22 Oct - Charlie Cox has everybody guessing now, after he stressed that he was not involved in the new Spider-Man movie, "Brand New Day".

The actor, who plays the role of Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shared as much in a new interview with Phase Hero podcast, amid rumours that he is also a part of the film helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

"Well, I don't read anything, so I don't know [what fans are saying online]. I know that they all think I'm in Spider-Man because I'm filming something in London, which I'm not. I'm not in Spider-Man... I'm just concentrating on DD right now," he said.

Despite his response, many fans expressed scepticism, especially due to the fact that Marvel actors are known to keep mum about their guest appearances and involvement to maintain secrecy.

However, while Cox's Daredevil appearance is not confirmed, it was reported that Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as The Hulk, while Cox's fellow co-star Jon Bernthal will be making an appearance as The Punisher.

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" will be released in July 2026.
