6 Jun - "Ejen Ali the Movie 2" (EATM2) has now surpassed the RM40 million mark in its second week of release.

The news was shared by the movie's official social media account, stating that it has now accumulated RM40.6 million in just 13 days, including the previous 2-day fan screening.

The film continues to make bank since late last week, what with the school holidays and the additional public holiday due to the King's birthday.

"Our work isn't done yet. The RM60 Million Mission has now begun - let's invite all family and friends to buy tickets for #EjenAliTheMovie2," the post added, referring to WAU Animation CEO Usamah Zaid Yasin's goal of reaching that box office number.

Meanwhile, it was reported that the film has also received its release date for its Indonesian premiere. The movie will begin screening in Indonesia beginning 27 June.
