6 Jun - Following the success of her web drama, "Bidaah" in Indonesia, Erma Fatima recently revealed that she is currently working on two movies with Indonesian productions that relate to the subject of cults.

Speaking about her upcoming project, the 57-year-old filmmaker said that she has been meeting several former cult members for her research so that she can write the script for the upcoming two films, titled "Khurafat Walid" and "Nikah Batin".

Erma, who started her career as an actress in movies like "Hati Bukan Kristal" and "Pemburu Bayang", said that she also has several names in mind to star in her upcoming movies.

"In my mind right now, I would like to have Reza Rahadian, Christine Hakim and Luna Maya. They are the actors that I would want in my films. The producers over there agreed with me on that too," she said.

In addition to Indonesian stars, Erma said that she also plans to cast Malaysian actors to be involved in the films as well.

"Bidaah", which stars Faizal Hussein, Vanidah Imran, Riena Diana and Fattah Amin among others, previously became the biggest Malaysian drama on the streaming service VIU, attracting the attention of neighbouring viewers especially Indonesia.

It later became the highest rated drama on Indonesia's Trans TV.
