Fire breaks out on Dhanush's "Idly Kadai" filming set

23 Apr - It was reported that a massive fire had broken out on the set of Dhanush's upcoming Tamil movie, "Idly Kadai".

The fire incident, which occurred at the Anupapatti village in Tamil Nadu's Theni district, reportedly did not cause any injury, as the crew have already moved to their next location.

However, filming will be disrupted, as it was revealed that the set, which was designed to resemble a street lined with shops and houses, was supposed to be revisited later in production.

The police are currently investigating the cause of the fire.

The film, written, directed and produced by the actor himself, is originally scheduled for 1 October release.

The film stars Dhanush in the lead alongside Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj, and Rajkiran.
