11 Nov - Hema Malini has slammed reports that husband Dharmendra has passed away.

The iconic veteran actor, who was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on 31 October for a routine checkup, was earlier reported to have passed away in the morning of 11 November.

Even after son Sunny Deol posted that the actor is in stable condition, news of his death continues to be published in several news outlets.

In response to the situation, the legendary actress posted on social media, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."

Daughter Esha Deol also took to X to clarify the situation, saying, "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa's speedy recovery."
