13 Oct - After much anticipation, it was revealed that the third instalment of the new "Jumanji" will begin filming in November.

It was reported that the Sony film will start production in Los Angeles, with Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan returning to star in the feature. Jack Kasdan will also return to direct.

Aside the four main cast members, it was reported that "The White Lotus" actress Brittany O'Grady will also be joining the movie alongside "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" actor Burn Gorman.

Plot is kept under wraps, and the movie is scheduled to be released on 11 December 2026.

The original film, released in 1995, starred Robin Williams, Bonnie Hungt and Kirsten Dunst among others. In 2017, a new Jumanji movie was released, titled "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle", with the board game now being a video game.

The sequel, "Jumanji: The Next Level", was released in 2019.
