Lily James teams with Chris Hemsworth for underwater thriller

- Lily James has been cast in the upcoming Amazon MGM's "Subversion".
The film, which has been described as "Die Hard on a submarine", earlier announced Chris Hemsworth as its protagonist, a naval commander who is blackmailed by a cartel-like organisation into carrying illegal cargo across international waters via submarine.
James just recently filmed "Bad Liutenant: Tokyo", an action thriller by renowned Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike. She also has a new action thriller film with director Jaume Collet-Serra, which is a reboot of Sylvester Stallone's "Cliffhanger".
In addition, the British actress also has several new films to be released soon, including the Riz Ahmed-starrer, "Relay".
"Subversion" will begin production in Australia this September, and will be helmed by "The Jacket" director, Patrick Vollrath.
