22 Aug - Millie Bobby Brown has shared on social media that she and her husband Jake Bongiovi have welcomed a baby girl through adoption this summer.

The "Stranger Things" and "Enola Holmes" star revealed that she has stepped into motherhood this summer with enthusiasm and determination.

In a joint Instagram post, the 21-year-old actress and her 23-year-old husband shared that this summer, they welcomed "our sweet baby girl through adoption." The couple expressed their joy about starting this new journey, explaining that they're "beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy."

The actress has spoken openly in the past about her aspirations to become a young mother. During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast, she shared, "My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19... I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me."

Their announcement arrives just over a year following their wedding in May 2024.
