20 Mar - Karan Johar has recently decided to share his two cents on the many negative reviews that his produced film, "Nadaaniyan" has been getting since it was released on Netflix earlier this month.

The filmmaker, who was seen at a press meet recently, said that his relationship with film critics doesn't change no matter what they write about his films.

"Sometimes, trolls do say things. My issue is when some of these writers don't see that these actors are also someone's sons and daughters. They are people too," he said. "So, what you say about them is a reflection of you, and not on the film. That is disturbing to me. Words are equally violent."

The movie, which stars the late Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor alongside Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan in his first ever film, has been receiving hate left and right since its release, with many questioning the lacklustre performances and tired storyline.

Many netizens slammed the movie and the production for still casting children of stars in the leads despite their inability to carry a movie, while others expressed their annoyance with the script and the quality of the sound.

Meanwhile, there are also those who enjoyed the movie, saying that people shouldn't be too harsh on a film made for OTT.
