The animation blockbuster arrives 13 March

24 Feb – The highly successful animated feature, "Ne Zha 2" from China is coming to Malaysian screens!

The news was announced by Encore Films, saying that the film will officially be screened in Malaysia beginning 13 March.

"Ne Zha 2" is a 2025 Chinese animated fantasy adventure film written and directed by Jiaozi and a sequel to the 2019 animated feature of the same name.

Hong Kong actor-director Stephen Chow delighted fans with his IG post showing him donning Nezha's costume, including his signature gold ring and red sash, with his back faced the camera

Following its release on Chinese New Year in China, the film broke USD 1.4 billion in China alone, making it the highest grossing movie in a single market.

It has also now amassed a global cume of USD 1.84 billion, becoming the only non-Hollywood film to enter the top 20 of the global all-time box office rankings.

The movie will be released in Malaysia on 13 March
