13 Nov - It is another hoax, said Chennai police, after a bomb threat was issued by an unknown person at Ajith Kumar's Injambakkam residence.

The incident, which occurred on 11 November, had the police deploying a bomb squad to the premise for a thorough search, but found no explosives as alleged after several hours.

The bomb threat involving Ajith is not the first one in recent months, as it was reported that the Director General of Police recently received an email from an unidentified person claiming a bomb was planted at Arun Vijay's place in Chennai's Ekkattuthangal.

Back in October, composer Ilaiyaraaja's studio was also alleged to face a bomb threat, but had since been revealed as a hoax as well.

Although none of the bomb threats have been proven true, the frequency of these claims, which include other big celebrities and government officials, have caused concern among many.

It is noted that Ajith recently revealed that he has relocated to Dubai to enjoy his private life and passion for racing.
