It was reported that several scripts are already in consideration, with Ranbir to infuse "modern sensibilities" into the studio while maintaining the values of RK Studios.

Sources are also saying that the actor plans to expand the studio to include an office and a screening theatre, aligning it to his father Rishi Kapoor's vision to continue their legacy.

Established in 1948, the studio's first film was the Raj Kapoor-helmed, "Aag" which he co-starred with Nargis. The studio continued to produce many more films including "Bobby," "Mera Naam Joker," and "Sangam". Their last film was the Aishwarya Rai-starrer, "Aa Ab Laut Chalen" in 1999.
