23 Jun - Russell Crowe is joining Henry Cavill in the upcoming remake of "Highlander".

The New Zealander actor will play the role of Cavill's mentor in the new movie, which was played by Sean Connery in the 1986 version of the fantasy action-adventure film.

The project is being helmed by Chad Stahelski of "John Wick" fame, with his "John Wick 4" scribe Michael Finch penning the script.

Last seen in "Kraven the Hunter", Crowe will be seen next in "Nuremberg", playing the role of Hermann Göring.
