1 Oct - It was revealed that there will be another "The Simpsons" movie in 2027.

In an announcement made on 29 September via social media, 20th Century Fox shared a photo of Homer's hand holding to a pink donut sprinkled with number two, with the line, "Homer's coming back for seconds."

"Woohoo! The Simpsons are coming to theaters with an all-new movie on July 23, 2027!" the studio wrote, though it did not mention the official title.

The show first premiered in 1989

It is noted that the second Simpsons movie has taken the slot from an untitled Marvel film. Also in the same slot is Warner Bros.' animated musical feature, "Bad Fairies".

It is noted that the first Simpson movie was released in July 2007 and made USD 536 million at the box office.
