25 Jul - Legendary actor and filmmaker Sylvester Stallone took to social media to mourn the loss of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, and expressed condolences following Hogan's passing on 24 July.

Stallone, known for his iconic roles as Rocky Balboa and John Rambo, took to his official Instagram account to honour his longtime friend and fellow showman.

"I had the pleasure of meeting this brilliant personality and showman when he was 26 years old. He was absolutely wonderful and his amazing skill made Rocky three incredibly special. My heart breaks. I think that he's gone...," Stallone wrote.

Real name Terry Gene Bollea, it was reported that Hogan suffered a cardiac arrest at his home in Florida, and died surrounded by his family.

The late wrestling icon - always easily identified by his blonde horseshoe mustache and bandannas - was among the most celebrated wrestling icons of the 1980s and is regarded as one of the greatest in history. He stood at 6 feet 7 inches tall and weigh around 320 pounds (145 kg) during his prime.
