"The Fox King" is headed to Busan International Film Festival 2025
29 Aug - Woo Ming Jin's "The Fox King" is set to fly to South Korea for the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

The Malaysia-Indonesia collaborative movie, which stars Indonesian actress Dian Sastrowardoyo and Malaysian actors Idan Aedan and Hadi Putra, will have its Asian premiere at A Window on Asian Cinema section.

The said section highlights the diverse styles and visions of Asian cinema through masterful works from acclaimed auteurs and emerging talents, capturing the spirit of contemporary Asian filmmaking.

"The Fox King" tells the story of Ali and Amir, whose twin connection is put to the test when their father abandons them and a new teacher, Lara, enters their lives, challenging their relationship to its core.

The movie is the second collaboration between Woo Ming Jin's Greenlight Pictures with Jakarta-based KawanKawan Media, following the Bront Palarae-starrer, "Stone Turtle". It also co-stars Amirul Affendi and Chew Kin Wah.
