29 Dec - Fans in Malaysia were in celebration for the chance of meeting Thalapathy Vijay, who was in Kuala Lumpur for the audio launch of his swansong, "Jana Nayagan".

The 51-year-old actor made his appearance at the special event held at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil on 27 December, greeted by around 85,000 fans who gathered at the venue for the chance of seeing Vijay in person.

It is noted that the event has also made it to the Malaysian Book of Records for being the biggest Tamil audio launch ever held in Malaysia.

Aside from the audio launch, the event also had another segment, which is a tribute concert for Vijay that features a huge number of artistes including Vijay Yesudas, Anuradha Sriram, Haricharan, Krish, S. P. Charan, Tippu, Shweta Mohan, Yogi B, Andrea Jeremiah, and Sanjana Divaker Kalmanje, among others.

In addition to the film's cast members, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nelson Dilipkumar, Atlee, Nasser, and Srinath were also in attendance.

It is noted that the film will be his last movie before he throws himself fully into politics.
