2 Jul - After two months in the gym, Zul Ariffin is happy to announce that he has successfully shed 20kg off his weight in preparation for his new movie.

Sharing the news on social media on 30 June with a photo of him showing off his new physique, the actor posted, "Today is Day 60. Exactly 2 months of sacrifice. 20kg down. 101kg [to] 81kg."

"2 black outs. 1 nose bleed. And a whole load of migraines and dizziness, low carbs, low sugar, low everything! And still 2, 3 hrs of training daily," he added.

Zul admitted that it had not been easy and that it can be said to be the biggest challenge he has taken to date.

"The last time I attempted this, was 9 years ago and that was just 12kg. I said I'd do it, honestly, not fully confident I really could but sometimes you just gotta grit your teeth and say LET'S GO!!"

He ended the post by saying that he is now ready to shoot his new project, "Furious".

Hilarity ensues in the comments section, with one netizen writing, "I am here just to find my wife's comment", while another posted, "I am glad this isn't Ramadan or my fast would have been invalidated right now."
