"Days of Thunder 2" to zoom in summer 2028

1 Sep - Anne Hathaway is set to star alongside Tom Cruise in the sequel of the actor's hit '90s movie, "Days of Thunder".

The news was shared by Cruise on social media with a short video of him checking the camera to see if he is being recorded, before panning to Hathaway to check on it as well.

They then posed in front of his character Cole's yellow and green car with the words "Days of Thunder Summer 2028" written across it, with Cruise asking the pregnant actress, "Now what?"

She then responded, "Now what? Let's make the movie! I will have this baby and then we gonna make the movie."

Cruise will return as NASCAR driver Cole Trickle in the upcoming sequel, while Hathaway will play a team owner and engineer. Further plot details are under wraps.

Jonathan Levine is set to helm the movie.
