"Avatar 3" continues to soar
13 Jan - James Cameron's "Avatar: Fire and Ash" continues to top the box office in its fourth weekend, adding another several more millions to its already hefty earning.

The movie has amassed another USD 21.3 million in the US, besting newcomers like "Primate" and "The Housemaid," bringing a global total of USD 1.23 billion.

However, it has yet to surpass "Zootopia 2," which has now made USD 1.65 billion at the box office.

"Zootopia 2" has now become the highest grossing Disney animated movie of all time if one set aside the 2019 film, "The Lion King," which is a photorealistically animated remake and is considered a live-action film rather than an animated feature.

At the same time, it means that the "Avatar" franchise has now made over USD 6.49 billion worldwide, making it the highest grossing franchise of all time.
