29 Jun – Fans are now speculating that there could be a third instalment of the hit franchise, "Baahubali". The whole speculation sparked after a clip from the documentary "Baahubali: The Torch Bearer" went viral online, with actors Prabhas, Rana and Anushka making comments that led to the belief of another movie. On one occasion, Rana shared, "I don't know if I should say this publicly, but since Rajamouli and Shobu garu aren't here, I will just say what's on my mind. The world may not be ready yet, but there will be Baahubali..." before trailing off. Prabhas later gestured with his three fingers with a smile, followed by laughter from everyone. The clip also concluded with the words, "And the legacy continues!"
It is noted, however, that director SS Rajamouli has yet to make any official statement as to whether the third movie is in the works or whether it will be in a different form. The first movie was released in 2015, receiving acclaims domestically and internationally. The sequel, titled "Baahubali: The Conclusion" was released in 2017 and became one of the highest-grossing films of all time.
