11 Aug - After staying sober for seven years, Brad Pitt revealed that he is back to drinking again, though with more restraint.

In a recent interview with Esquire, the actor was asked about his sobriety after offering the interviewer wine, to which he responded, "No, I was sober for seven years. And then I got back off the wagon."

However, he quickly held up a finger and said, "In a more restrained manner. I got overconfident a couple times, went, Yep, nope, not good for me. Not in big quantities."

Pitt said that he would have a few glasses of wine, but not a lot.

"I have to be professional about it," he added.

It was back in 2020 that Pitt revealed his sobriety, thanking Bradley Cooper for being the one who helped him with his alcohol problem. He previously revealed that he had always been a drinker ever since leaving college, and that he went on a 12-step programme after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.

Pitt was also asked about the most painful subject in his life, to which he responded, "Family stuff. We could leave it at that."
