8 Jan - After much heated debate on social media from fans of the animated feature, Disney finally announced that they have cast the actors for the upcoming live-action "Tangled".

Australian actress Teagan Croft, known for playing Raven on HBO Max's "Titans," has been cast to play Rapunzel. The character was originally voiced by Mandy Moore in the 2010 animated film.

Milo Manheim in

Meanwhile, Milo Manheim of "Zombies" fame will be playing the role of Flynn Rider, the outlaw-turned-Rapunzel love interest. The character was voiced by Zachary Levi in the 2010 film.

The movie will be helmed by Michael Gracey, who has directed musical films like "Better Man" and "The Greatest Showman".

The decision to cast Croft and Manheim came after months of auditions in the US and the UK.
