2 Jul - Datuk Hans Isaac recently revealed that his position as the Chairman of FINAS is the reason why he is hesitant about accepting filming offers.

The actor-producer, who spoke to the media at the special screening of "Gerak Khas 2.0" at TGV, KLCC, shared that every offer that comes his way has to be scrutinised to avoid any perception or conflict of interest that could affect his integrity.

"I need to see whether the production receives funding from FINAS or not. If I am involved in a production that receives funding from FINAS or the government, there may be a conflict of interest. I really need to think about that because of the position I currently hold," he said.

However, the "Cuci" star said he is more open to accepting offers from overseas productions because it does not involve any issues related to his responsibilities at FINAS.

As to why he accepted the offer to be a part of "Gerak Khas 2.0," Hans stated that he is just honouring the offer from Datuk Yusof Haslam, who is a giant in the local film industry.

"If he calls you, that means you have to support him... That is why I came out of my 'retirement'. I think it is worth it," he added.
