30 Jan - Always gleeful for his new projects, Henry Cavill recently unveiled the first look for his upcoming film, "Highlander".

On 28 January, the actor posted two photos of his character Connor MacLeod, including one of him clad in a jacket as he walks in what seems to be an Oriental temple.

He posted, "Happy First Look for Highlander! This has been quite the journey for me, which I'll tell you all about when the time is right, but it's a special moment to be able to share this. I hope you enjoy."

Helmed by Chad Stahelski of "John Wick" fame, the movie based on the original 1986 movie starred Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery and Clancy Brown as immortal beings, hunting down one another ("There can only be ONE") and collecting more power. The film spawned four more sequels and three television series - including an American version starring Adrian Paul.

Cavill's involvement in the reboot of the 1986 movie was first announced back in 2021. However, production was delayed late last year after the actor was injured while training for the film.

The film also stars Russell Crowe, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Dave Bautista, Marisa Abela and Max Zhang.
