1 Oct - Irfan Zaini has no regrets whatsoever, despite his movie, "Terbang" did not do as well as he hoped for at the domestic box office.

The actor, who plays the lead in the film inspired by the real-life journey of national rally legend Karamjit Singh, said that the box office figures is not an absolute benchmark to label a movie as a failure.

Inspired by the real-life journey of national rally legend Karamjit Singh, "Terbang" tells the story of a Malaysian who dares to defy limits and push beyond boundaries in pursuit of glory for the nation on the international stage.

"It's not about being sad or not. Instead, we have to reflect on what was our mistakes and what can be improved upon. Being sad won't lead us anywhere," he said.

Irfan said that the makers have already known the risk they're taking when they decided to make the movie.

"It is very risky when you choose to do something outside the box. But if it works, it will change the pattern and algorithm of the Malaysian film industry," he added.

The actor said that he is still elated to see a lot of great reviews on social media.

"It may not have made as much as the other commercial films, but we know that this film has already won people's heart," he added.
