8 Jul - The makers of "Jana Nayagan" have denied another rumour concerning the movie, this time regarding it receiving an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

KVN Productions responded to the recent rumour recently, saying that the supposed certificate that has been circulating online was fake, as the Vijay-starrer has yet to receive one.

"The CBFC has completed its review and sent us the final list of revisions. Once we complete those changes, we are hopeful of receiving the certification and bringing the film to theatres," the company's rep added.

Nonetheless, the team is positive that the process is nearing completion, with theatre owners in Tamil Nadu have reportedly started preparing for the release.

It was reported that KVN is looking at a theatrical release in the last week of July or the first week of August.

The movie, which was previously promoted as Thalapathy Vijay's swansong, halted its release back in January after issues with the CBFC.
