19 Jan - Jason Momoa has recently revealed that he is ready to film the sequel for his successful 2025 flick, "A Minecraft Movie".

Speaking about the sequel plans on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," the actor revealed that the second movie is going into production at the end of April.

"The script is even better. It's so good, I was laughing out loud. I haven't laughed out loud in a very long time at a script. I was perplexed on the first script, this one I'm laughing out loud," he said.

It was back in October that director Jared Hedd was announced to return to direct the second film, which he wrote with Chris Galleta. The film currently has the release date of July 2027.

The 2025 fantasy adventure film, which is based in the video game of the same name, made USD 958 million at the box office against a budget of USD 150 million.

It became the fifth highest grossing film of 2025 and the second highest grossing video game adaptation of all time.
