In addition, the cast will appear at several shopping malls in Penang and the Klang Valley between 17 and 20 March, where they will meet fans and participate in interactive games. This include Gurney Plaza on 17 March at 6PM, and on the 20th - AEON Bukit Tinggi (2PM), Sunway Velocity (4PM), and AEON Cheras Selatan (8PM).

Directed by Peiji Goh ("The Locksmith") and Yong Choon Lin (cinematographer of "PASKAL"), and produced by Chiah Choon Hang, "Kong Tao" has been described as a "black magic encyclopaedia," exploring various legends and rituals surrounding occult practices. Development and research for the project began in 2022, and since filming commenced in May 2024, the bold subject matter has drawn significant attention.
