6 Mar - The new "Ocean's" prequel is now without a director, as Lee Isaac Chung, who was previously hired to helm the film, has now withdrawn from the project.

The director, most known for his award-winning film, "Minari," was revealed to have an "amicable split," said Warner Bros. and LuckyChap, due to "creative differences".

"Lee Isaac is a singular filmmaking talent whose vision and partnership have been invaluable to Warner Bros. and LuckyChap throughout this journey. Our experience with him has only deepened our enthusiasm to collaborate on future projects together," the statement added.

Prior to his departure, Chung was developing the film with producer and star, Margot Robbie.

No new director has been tied to the project for the time being.

The first "Ocean's" movie was launched in 1960 and stars the Rat Pack; Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop. In 2001, it was rebooted, and starred George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia and Julia Roberts among others.
