2 Mar - Another one of Brad Pitt's kids has now dropped his surname, and this time, it is Angelina Jolie's adopted son, Maddox.

The 24-year-old, who served as an assistant director of Jolie's "Couture," was revealed to have used the name Maddox Jolie in the credits when the movie made its debut in France back in February.

It is noted that the young filmmaker was previously credited as Maddox Jolie-Pitt when he worked on the 2024 film, "Maria," also starring Jolie.

Maddox is one of Jolie's adopted children from before she married Pitt. The children; Pax, Zahara and Maddox adopted the Pitt surname after the two started their relationship.

Prior to Maddox, Pitt and Jolie's biological daughter Vivien decided to drop the name in May 2024, followed by Zahara in August the same year. Shiloh also changed the name when she turned 18.

The decision to change the surname came after the two split in 2016 after two years of marriage. The divorce was finalised in late 2024.
