19 Aug - The highly anticipated "Ghost Rider" movie starring Ryan Gosling has now been scheduled for a 2028 release.

The movie, which will be helmed by "Deadpool & Wolverine" director Shawn Levy, is now in the 28 July 2028 slot, making it the third Marvel movie that will be released that year.

Other Marvel films dated for 2028 include "Black Panther 3" (15 December 2028) and the upcoming new "X-Men" film, which will be released in May of the same year.

Gosling's casting for "Ghost Rider" was announced last month at the San Diego Comic-Con, making it his second collaboration with Levy and screenwriter Jonathan Tropper after working together on the upcoming "Star Wars: Starfighter".

The last released Ghost Rider movie is "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance," which premiered in 2012, and starred Nicolas Cage.
