30 Sep - Michelle Yeoh has recently taken to social media to express her sadness over the loss of Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah, the wife of former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed.

The Hollywood star recently posted a couple of photos of Tun Hasmah, including one of her with her violin, writing, "Deeply saddened of the passing of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah. We send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Tun Dr Mahathir and Family."

"Tun Dr Siti Hasmah was truly a remarkable woman. A woman of incredible grace, intelligence, and compassion that resonated across the nation. The love and partnership you both shared were an inspiration to us all," she expressed.

Michelle also added that they are grieving alongside the family during this time of profound sadness, adding, "We wish you and your family comfort and strength during this difficult time. May she rest in eternal peace."

Her true love story with Tun Dr. Mahathir spanning 70 years of marriage and her dedicated service to Malaysia throughout her 100 years of life are deeply admired. Malaysians love her."
