11 Jun - "Masters of the Universe" star Nicholas Galitzine is set to take on a new project, starring in an untitled film from director Gus Van Sant, who is in talks to helm the feature.

While details about the story are being kept under wraps, Galitzine will play the role of Hoyt Richards, widely known as the highest-paid male supermodel of his time. Rising to fame in the late 1980s, Richards was a contemporary of supermodels like Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell, and became the face of campaigns for Gianni Versace, Valentino and Ralph Lauren.

It is noted that Richards earlier was featured in "Bring Me the Beauties," a three-part documentary series on HBO that chronicles how he became involved and donated millions to a doomsday cult called Eternal Values that preyed on young male models.

Galitzine, who is currently promoting "Masters of the Universe," will be seen next on the Netflix sports drama "The Mosquito Bowl," set during World War II.
