13 Mar - Nikki Glaser is set to make a new record of being the first solo comedienne to host the Golden Globes three times.

On 11 March, Helen Hoehne, the president of the Golden Globes organisation, shared the good news, saying that Glaser will be returning as host for the 2027 edition of the awards.

"Her comedic precision, authenticity and ability to command the room is unmatched, and we can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve for next year's show," said Hoehne.

Glaser on the other hand, expressed her excitement about hosting the show for the third time, jokingly adding, "Not only because it's the greatest gig I've ever had, but because my sister has three kids and now, we will be equal in the eyes of my parents and the Lord."

It is noted that former "SNL" stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler still hold the record for the most Golden Globe hosting gig with four times, though as a duo instead of individually.
