15 Apr - Two years after the last film, it was revealed that there will be a fourth "Paddington" movie.

StudioCanal announced the news at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where company CEO and Canal+ Chief Content Officer Anna Marsh and Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Distribution Hugh Spearing shared several of the company's upcoming projects.

Spearing stated that they have hired a team of comedy writers to write the new movie, though made no mention of their names.

The last film, "Paddington in Peru," was released in 2024 and made USD 211 million at the box office from a USD 90 million budget. The movie stars Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington Bear, with other cast members including Emily Mortimer, Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas and Carla Tous.

The first "Paddington" movie was released in 2014, followed by its sequel in 2017.
