15 Jul - A recent image that has gone viral sparked reports that Rajinikanth's upcoming film will be holding its audio launch in Malaysia.

On 14 July, Datuk Abdul Malik Dasthigeer, the chairman of Malik Streams Group, shared a couple of photos with the Tamil superstar on Instagram, captioning it, "Meeting Superstar Rajinikanth has always been unforgettable. This time, history is about to repeat itself. Ready Malaysia?"

Many took to the comments, speculating that the actor's upcoming picture, "Jailer 2," would be holding its audio launch in Malaysia and organised by Malik Streams, just like Vijay's "Jana Nayagan" last year.

It is noted that Rajinikanth is no stranger to doing audio launches in Malaysia. His past movie "Enthiran" had such event at PICC back in July 2010.

"Jailer 2," which is the sequel of the 2023 movie, sees Rajinikanth returning as "Tiger" Muthuvel Pandian. The movie is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
