18 Aug - "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is officially the second fastest film to make it to USD 2 billion at the global box office.

The movie, which previously made USD 1 billion in just six days, has now grossed USD 785 million in North America and USD 1.23 billion internationally, bringing a global total of USD 2.022 billion.

However, it still failed to surpass "Avengers: Endgame," which reached USD 2 billion in just 11 days.

The movie is currently in eighth place in the highest grossing movies of all time, but may surpass "Avengers: Infinity War" anytime soon, what with it only being its third weekend at the box office.
