"Last Dive" explore the vital messages of marine conservation and the challenges facing our oceans
11 May - Malaysian film "Last Dive" is set to have its Premiere Market Screening at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival on 14 May.

The movie, which discusses the topic of ocean conservation and threats to marine ecosystems, is executive produced by Datin Dr. Wendy Wong, and stars Shiqin Kamal, Aniq Duraf, Amerul Affendi and Sandra Lim.

"I am truly honoured to represent Malaysia in discussing the evolving role of film producers in today's entertainment landscape," Datin Dr. Wong said in a statement.

It tells the story of a former footballer who meets with a scuba diving instructor who is devoted to help people with disabilities through underwater experiences.

Datin Dr. Wong is also set to join several distinguished speakers at the Cannes Film Festival, including actress Kate Monroe for a panel discussion with the topic of "Behind the Camera, Beyond the Screen: Women Who Produce Change".
