Vikram to begin filming "Chiyaan63" project soon

Vikram's reunites with "Iru Mugan" director Anand Shankar for his 63rd film

14 May - It was reported that Vikram's latest film is set to begin filming sometime in June.

The movie, currently titled as "Chiyaan63" to mark his 63rd film, will be helmed by Anand Shankar, who previously worked with Vikram in "Iru Mugan".

A source stated that the movie was originally scheduled to begin filming earlier this month, but that the schedule was pushed to early week of June. Filming will revolve around Chennai, with Vikram allocating more than 50 days for the project.

In addition, music composer Santhosh Narayanan is also said to be helming the music part of the film, while another "Iru Mugan" alum, cinematographer RD Rajasekhar, will be joining the project as well.

Plot detail has yet to be revealed for the time being.

Vikram was last seen in "Veera Dheera Sooran". He will be seen next in "Dhruva Natchathiram" co-starring Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, and R. Parthiban.
