3 Jul - It was revealed that a movie adaptation of the Internet horror sensation; Siren Head is currently in the works at Warner Bros. Pictures.

It was reported that Zach Cregger, known for the universally-acclaimed "Barbarian" and "Weapons," will be teaming up with writer-director Brian Duffield to write the project, with the latter to be in the director's seat.

It is noted that Duffield has been getting a lot of attention for the 2026 survival thriller "Whalefall" as well as the 2023 sci-fi horror, "No One Will Save You".

Cregger will also be producing the feature as under Vertigo Entertainment, the same company that produced "Weapons".

Siren Head is a hostile Internet urban legend created by Canadian artist Henderson in 2018, and is known for its tall stature and its iconic siren-like head structures.

Among its abilities is mimicry, camouflage and perception manipulation.
