The Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation 2026 returns to Kuala Lumpur from 21 - 23 August 2026, exclusively at GSC Aurum Theatre, The Exchange TRX.
HKFGP 2026 is a touring film programme organized by the Asian Film Awards Academy, with support from the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency and the Hong Kong Film Development Fund. It promotes Hong Kong films and talents to audiences around the world.
The programme has visited cities including Bangkok, Dubai, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh, and Singapore. It aims to connect film professionals from Hong Kong and ASEAN countries, encourage cultural exchange, and create opportunities for collaboration.
