It's the moment Italian movie afficianados have been waiting for! Italian Film Festival finally returns to Kuala Lumpur from 26 September 2026 until 11 October 2026 - with Italian Screens; a special three-weekend showcase presented and curated by the Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with the International Department of Cinecittà and GSC International Screens.
Italian Screens aims to promote the international circulation of contemporary Italian cinema while creating new opportunities for cultural exchange, distribution and collaboration across the audio-visual sector. The festival will feature 6 films that reflect diversity and vitality of contemporary Italian cinema: "There's Still Tomorrow", "Diamonds", "Siblings", "Naples to New York", "Green Family" and "The Greater Good".
All films in the programme will be screened at GSC Mid Valley (KL), Hall 10, every Saturday and Sunday, with two films presented each day. Each title will be screened twice, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the full showcase line-up.
All films will be screened in Italian with English subtitles. Tickets are priced at a flat rate of RM15 and will be available to book via GSC Ticketing Kiosks, GSC's website and mobile app. For more information on IFF 2026, visit gsc.com.my.
