Japanese Film Festival Plus (JFF+) makes its virtual film festival return featuring a selection of Japanese independent films from 1 August 2023 to 31 October 2023.
This project is a continuation of the streaming project JFF+ Independent Cinema carried out from December 15, 2022, through June 15, 2023.
A total of 12 films are selected by the managers of Japanese independent theaters, so-called "mini-theaters" that have nurtured the diversity of Japanese cinema culture.
The films are available to stream online free-of-charge on JFF+ Independent Cinema's website.
